Construction Project Expectations
Any construction area should be considered dangerous
- There will be falling debris, focused crewmen, moving trucks, large equipment, flying materials, and dangerous tool.
a. Please remove any pets and/or children from the property completely. If your pets and/or children must remain
on the property, secure a safe place for them as far away from the project as possible.
b. Make sure to keep a safe distance from the project area and do not enter the project area.
c. Park all vehicles, boats, motor homes, etc. in a safe place away from the project. - The only access the crewmen have to electricity is through you. It may be necessary for the crewmen to use your electricity to power their tools.
- The crewmen are trained and experienced. If they need something, they will ask. Do not offer to help the crewmen in any way.
- The crewmen need full access to the project. Please remove all items in or around the project to allow the crewmen full access.
- During and after the project, fasteners such as nails or screws may have inadvertently ended up on the ground. We do our best to clean up the fasteners by sweeping the area with a magnet. Please use caution until you are confident the area is free of fasteners.
- It is common for the crewmen to use force such as with a hammer. This may cause vibration to the structure. To avoid items falling and/or breaking, please remove susceptible property, such as pictures, artwork, and glass, to a safe location.
- Unfortunately during some projects your satellite dish may get disturbed and need to be realigned. We apologize that this may be an added cost to you.
- Please be aware that sometimes it may be necessary for the crewmen to drive into your yard to access the project, causing minor disfiguration of the lawn. We will do our best to minimize or avoid this whenever possible.
- Regrettably, during the roof removal process, debris may fall through decking cracks or openings into the attic. We do not remove the debris out of the attic. If this is a concern, you may want to lay out tarps or plastic in the attic prior to construction to make your clean up easier. If your garage or shop does not have a ceiling, please remove cars, motorcycles, bicycles, boats and other storage items that are at risk of being damaged or dirtied during the roof replacement.
Our Process
After we have received confirmation from you that we may begin your project, we will work hard to make that happen as quickly as possible.
Your materials generally will be delivered to your property within 2-7 days unless your order contains special order items that may delay your material delivery. It is helpful if you call our office to let us know your materials have arrived.
After your materials have arrived, you will be added to our work schedule. Of course, weather conditions and high volume business can delay a project. We will do our best to communicate any unexpected delays with you.
The time it takes to complete your project depends on the scope of the project. After we agree to do the project, we will communicate with you our expected completion schedule.
The crewmen care about your personal privacy and it is their understanding that communication with you has been established by your project manager. Please direct all questions or concerns concerning the crewmen or the project through your project manager or our office. We will address your issue quickly and seriously.
